G-OIL®Review

GET- G-OIL® makers of “green” products

Back in late May 2011, Green Earth Technologies(GET), manufacturer of “green” products, wanted to let you know about their new environmentally friendly motor oil called, G-OIL®.  They (GET) ,were offering a mail in rebate for a free 5 quart bottle of 5W-30 so you could make the switch yourself, in honor of Earth Month, which was in June ! This, was the giveaway post.  I also received a 5 qt bottle of G-OIL®, for helping to get the word out about the product.

GET- G-OIL® is “green” oil

G-OIL®, is made of a blend of nature’s American grown base oils, and it’s the first U.S. produced ultimate biodegradable bio-based motor oil, to be approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

GET- G-OIL® offers performance without petroleum

At the time I did the post, I had recently had an oil change.  So, about three weeks ago, I made the switch to G-OIL®.  At first, I called my local mechanic that services my vehicle, to see what he would charge.  Much to my surprise, even though I was furnishing the oil, there was NO discount!  They wouldn’t be making any money.  The same story was true, for the mechanic shop that is only a mile from my house.  They wanted $32-$36, for an oil change , with my G-OIL®.

So, I called my local WalMart.  Much to my surprise, they didn’t have G-OIL® or sell it, but the tech noticed the bottle said WalMart, on it.  He thought it was pretty cool!  They took $9.75 off , on a $30 oil change.  So, my G-OIL® change, was $22.25 out the door.

Just last week, I called my Bremerton, WA. Walmart.  They carry the product .  It is $26, for a 5 quart bottle.  That’s enough for your oil change. I’m relieved and happy to know, that I will be able to get the product, without any problems.  I can say without hesitation, that I am glad I made the switch to G-Oil.  There have been, no problems, even though it is a lighter weight oil, than what is recommended for my vehicle.  There is NO engine noise, and overall, it runs much cleaner.  Performance is good, and gas mileage seems to be a little better.  I have reformed, and will stay with G-OIL®!

If dependency on foreign oil has you looking for sustainable, but high performance vehicle solutions, look no further than G-OIL®!

I’d love to hear your story. Let me know, if you  ‘go green’ this summer, with G-OIL®!

When it comes to saving money and the environment, I jump at the chance to champion a cause I believe in. The thing I like about this program, is you are saving storage space and cutting down on clutter around the house. You are saving time by not having to recycle, and most importantly you are saving trees and helping the environment. I think this is a win-win answer for anyone’s reading pleasure.
